Zillertal Show Dairy in Mayrhofen

So, how do they get those holes in cheese? How is butter made? If you are looking for answers to questions such as these, you'll get them right here, first-hand and live at the Zillertal Dairy - on a floor space of 6,000 m² at 11 different information stations. You also have an opportunity to sample their dairy and cheese specialities, as well as pick and choose from the menu of the Dairy Kitchen. Farm-direct sale of fine cheese products and craft items to take home with you.

 Zillertal Railway
The steam train run by the Zillertal Railway - for over 100 years, the Zillertal Railway has been huffing and puffing its way through the valley. Join us aboard this vintage train for a ride through the snow-covered winter countryside. And utterly unique: the "Crystal Carriage", studded with thousands of small crystals.

Historic Gold Mine in Zell am Ziller

Seminars and conferences, art and culture, galas and special events, along with tours through one of the most modern and efficient biomass regional heating plants anywhere - all offered in delightful combination with our SichtBAR, the FeuerWerk's very own restaurant. During the guided tour, visitors not only have an opportunity to experience the facility's fascinating technical features, they are also encouraged to fine-tune their senses towards WOOD, that omnipresent natural product.

Hintertuxer Glacier

Spannagel Cave by the Hintertuxer Glacier
Below the Spannagelhaus by the Hintertuxer Glacier, you will find the entrance to a subterranean adventure: The cave at the Spannagelhaus is 10 km in total length and is one of Tyrol's most important caves, mainly providing insights into the high-alpine karstification of crystals, banded marble etc. Some 500 metres of the cave is open to the public.
