Why are there holes in cheese? How is butter made? If you are looking for the answers to these questions, you will find them with multimedia and live presentations in the alpine dairy in the Zillertal at 11 stations on 6,000m². Tastings of milk and cheese specialties are offered.

Zillertalbahn
The Zillertalbahn steam train – for over 100 years, the Zillertalbahn has been huffing and puffing through the valley. Go on a ride through the snow-covered winter wonderland on this nostalgic train. One unique feature is the crystal wagon which has thousands of crystals. We will gladly provide you with more information at the reception desk.
Gold mine in Zell
Take part in one of the great adventures of the past centuries. Feel what it is like to be on the inside of a mountain and experience 350 years of the culture of this almost forgotten trade with impressive multimedia presentations in the mine tunnel.
Hintertux glacier

Zillertaler Höhenstraße

"Spannagelhöhle" cave on the glacier
Below the Spannagelhaus on the Hintertux glacier is access to an underground adventure:
With a length of 10 km, the cave by the Spannagelhaus is Tyrol's most significant cave, and it offers insight into the high alpine karstification of crystals, banded marble, etc. Around 500 m of the cave is open to the public.
